Despite the friendly nature of the event, the players displayed remarkable skills and determination. We had over 3200 in attendance which was fantastic turn out. The fans really made the day.
The final whistle blew with the scoreline at 7-2 in favour of the Spurs Legends, who lifted the prestigious Beer Lanyard Cup. Despite the loss, Beer Lanyard FC was proud of their performance and the opportunity to play against such iconic players.
